The Forge occupies a landmark position on Westferry Road, one road back from the river and the Thames walkway, which is popular with joggers. A Thames river bus stop is around five minutes’walk from The Forge.
Within Muchute Park is Mudchute City Farm, the largest urban farm and park in Britain, covering over 30 acres of land. Despite being in the midst of Docklands, it's just like being in the countryside. You'll find sheep, goats and even a llama! If you love horses, then you're in luck as there's even a riding centre and school.
If riding doesn't appeal, why not take the nature trail and have a picnic in the peaceful parklands or get involved with the thriving football leagues. Otherwise, just pop in to the cafe for a drink.
The park is a breath of fresh air in a busy city and has lovely views across the Thames to Greenwich.
The exciting range of restaurants, bars & shopping available at Canary Wharf, Mudchute Park, local dining & friendly pubs combine together to form the unique Isle of Dogs atmosphere. Many of its inhabitants have lived there for generations making it feel like the “real” London.
